Our Services

Physical Therapy Built around your individualized needs

Three ways we help golfers move better, stay healthy, and perform at their best.

General Orthopedic Physical Therapy

One-on-one orthopedic PT for joint, muscle, and movement pain from nagging injuries to post-surgical recovery.

Golf Physical Therapy

Golf-specific PT that finds the root of your pain so you can stay on the course, season after season.

Golf Performance Training

TPI-based performance training to help you move better, rotate freer, and hit farther.

Why Par Performance PT

One on one PT care

Most PT clinics treat golf injuries the same way they treat everything else: generic exercises, limited time with a provider, and no real connection to how you actually move on the course. Par Performance PT is different. Every visit is one-on-one with Dr. Malutan, who brings TPI certification and sports performance expertise to each assessment and treatment plan.

Root-Cause Assessment Process

We identify what is actually driving your pain or limiting your movement, not just where it hurts, but why it keeps coming back.

I've been working with Josh for about a year. In that time he's helped me improve my balance, flexibility, and strength. It's made a big difference in my golf swing. His ability to personalize training exercises to achieve maximum improvement in a particular sport is amazing.
Mike Kayes
Josh has been fantastic to work with. He has been able to alleviate lower back and hip pain through stretching and dry needling sessions. More importantly, he provides a very effective at-home exercise plan between visits to strengthen affected muscles. As a golfer, he has a deep understanding of the golf swing and the key muscle groups that need development for performance improvement. Highly recommended Josh for game improvement!!!

Joshua is so excellent to work with! I have been working with him for the past 6 months and he has help me with my flexibility tremendously!! On the TPI screening I was an 28 hdcp when we began this journey and he has reduced my flexibility hdcp down to a 18 within 6 months. He is an awesome instructor and I highly recommend him for any of your golf strength training and flexibility classes.

FAQs

Common questions about golf PT, our cash-based model, and what to expect when you work with us.

Do I need to stop playing golf during treatment?

Not necessarily. Depending on your situation, we will work with you to keep you on the course as much as safely possible while you recover. The goal is to get you playing better, not just benched.

Why cash-based? I have health insurance.

Cash-based care means we can spend the full session focused on your recovery not paperwork or insurance requirements. We accept HSA and FSA payments, and we provide superbills so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance provider directly.

Can PT actually help a golf-specific injury?

Yes and that is exactly what we specialize in. Golf injuries are often connected to how your body moves through the swing. A general PT approach misses that. Our TPI certification and golf-specific assessment process are designed to find and address those connections.

What does a first visit actually look like?

New patients start with a discovery call so we can understand your situation before you come in. From there, your initial evaluation includes a thorough one-on-one assessment identifying the mobility, strength, and movement gaps related to your pain or performance goals.

Is this the same as golf lessons or swing coaching?

No. We work on the body, mobility, strength, and movement so the physical side stops limiting your game. We do not analyze or teach swing technique. If you are working with a swing coach, golf PT and performance training complement that work well.

Still have questions?

Reach out and we will get back to you quickly.
